1. How is Dezire Natural Sweetener different from other sugar substitutes? 

It is the ONLY Natural Sugar Substitute. All Dezire products are made using this Natural Sugar Substitute. It is a Low Glycemic (GI19) Product. A Low Glycemic Product is Good for Health Conscious and Diabetics whereas a High Glycemic Product is Bad for Diabetics. With a Low Glycemic Index of 19, it has been approved as safe for Diabetics and Health Watchers. It is Insulin Independent for its Metabolism. Hence, even Diabetics can safely take it. It also enables good HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin) levels. It is 1.7 times sweeter than normal sugar. Hence Calorie Savings can be made for Weight Watchers. It provides Lon Lasting Energy and thus postpones temptation to snacking. Hence Ideal for Weight Watchers. It has a Lingering Mellowed Taste unlike Artificial Sweeteners which leave a bitter / synthetic after taste

2. How is Dezire Safe for Diabetics and Health Watchers?

It is safe for Diabetics and Health Watchers for two Important reasons amongst others: It has a Low Glycemic Index (GI) of 19 as compared to a High GI of 100 for Glucose, 65 for Sugar and 55 for Honey. It is Insulin Independent for its Metabolism. Hence even Diabetics can safely consume it.

3. Is it safe for Children?

Synthetic Sugar Substitutes (artificial sweeteners) are not recommended in children, whereas Dezire Natural Sugar Substitute being natural, is safe for use by children.

4. What do you mean by Glycemic Index ?

Glycemic Index (GI) is a measure of how much the blood sugar levels rises after consuming a particular food. A Low glycemic index means the food will raise the blood sugar level only by a small degree. Conversely a High Glycemic Index will mean that the food will increase the Blood Sugar Levels b a significant level. Hence a Low GI food is good for a Diabetic while a High GI food is bad for a Diabetic. Thus, Glucose is a High GI Product has a GI of 100. Similarly Sugar has a High GI of 65, Honey has a High GI of 55 where as Dezire Natural Sugar Substitute has a Very Low GI of 19 and hence is safe for Diabetics and Health Watchers.

5. Is Dezire sweeter than sugar?

Yes. Dezire Sugar Natural Sugar Substitute is 1.7 times sweeter than sugar, so half the quantity is adequate to provide equivalent level of sweetness. This means that Calorie Savings can be made.

6. Does Dezire Natural Sugar Substitute have any Side Effects?

Unlike other Artificial Sweeteners, Dezire is the ONLY 100% Natural Sugar Substitute. Hence it has no side effects and is very safe.

7. How much quantity is safe for long term use in Diabetics?

Since it is almost twice sweeter than sugar half the quantity is enough vis a vis sugar ,As per the Meta analysis report published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition from 50 gms to 90 gms of laevulose can be consumed in a day. In fact the clinical analysis reports show that regular controlled usage of Diabetics Dezire improves glycemic control, increases hepatic glucose uptake, stimulates glycogen synthesis and helps keep HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin) levels under control.

What will be the cost of shipping?

We charge a Flat Shipping Fee for orders shipped within India. There is no minimum order requirement. For International Orders, the shipping charges are calculated by the shopping cart based on destination and the shipment weight of items in the cart. This can be checked in the Shopping Cart page.

How long will my order take?

All products will be dispatched on best effort basis as mentioned in our shipping policy. Actual Delivery of the Products depends on the timelines of Courier Companies terms and this will not be in our Control. Orders for delivery on festive occasions need to be placed well in advance to avoid any possible delay by courier services.

Can I return the item if I don’t like it?

Orders once billed & dispatched will not be cancelled or taken back.

Is the website price inclusive of taxes?

Yes it is Inclusive of GST & Exclusive of Octroi/Entry taxes in whichever state it is applicable. In India, some state governments levies the Octroi charges when the product enters the state. The Octroi charge is payable by the recipient at the time of delivery. The courier will collect the Octroi amount from the recipient at the time of delivery.
